Library Database Demonstration System

Welcome to Dan D'Urso's database website for CSS/417, an introductory database course for undergraduates based on the excellent texts by David Kroenke and Tim Duffy.

The primary purpose of this site is to provide the student with a simple demonstration of an approach to data bases based on web technologies instead of traditional client-server. The database is an Access database which is read from and written to using Active Server Pages, the ADO and an ODBC connection. Most ASP pages have a "Plain HTML" link whch allows one to view the source code.

It is based on the Library database in Roman's text.
